Correspondence from the Ranch: Charging into 2024
"In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps." Proverbs 16:9
Dear Valued Customer,
It's hard to believe we're well into the New Year — time flies when having fun and preparing for sales, tending to mama cows calving, picturing cattle, etc. (the usual ranch-life items).
We hope that your holidays were bright and that the start of 2024 was a success!
Hello, 2024 👋
We are using the exciting, fast-paced start of 2024 as an opportunity to seek new ways to improve the services and progeny we offer. We are furthering our efforts to engage with you, our customers, both online and on-ranch. We want to hear how our cattle perform and how well they meet your expectations.
We are also excited to show off our most impressive sale lineup yet. Our Annual Spring Sale kicks off on February 27th and includes over 80 powerful females and 200 breed-leading bulls. Cattle in this offering are 50K and PAP tested. You can see all the sale information here!
Other announcements for 2024 include: the launch of our new website and releases of new branded merch and engaging podcasts (more info coming soon)!
A Snapshot of 2023 📸
Reflecting on the past year of hosting sales, visiting customers, and touring the country, we cannot help but smile. We wouldn’t trade our work for the world.
Thanks to your support of our genetic program, we broke records at each of our sales in 2023. We had great turnouts at our sales in Oregon, California, and Wyoming.
We sold over 480 head of cattle, with a top seller of $26,500, to ranches across the country, from Wisconsin to Washington.
This year we were able to connect with many of our fellow breeders at the Angus Convention in Orlando, FL.
The annual convention opened our eyes to the many ways we can improve our operation — from making data easier to sift through to better capturing the value of our cattle.
Between viewing new products and refreshing ourselves on herd management, we were able to catch up with long-time friends.
On top of visiting colleagues, we were able to host many friends at the ranch as well.
Allflex paid us a visit in May to tour the ranch and interview us about our operation and history. You can view the video here.
Recently, Rob’s photo was featured on the big screen in one of the Allflex advertisements at the Cattlemen’s Congress in Oklahoma City, OK.
It is always humbling for our ranch to be featured by a company who’s products we use and trust.
